Tianjin Dongda Chemical Group Co.,Ltd was established in March 2,1998. It is a professional food additives manfacturing enterprise which specializes in research and development. Mr. Fugui Zhao is the chairman and general manager of Tianjin Dongda Chemical Group Co.,Ltd.
We have two wholly-owned subsidiaries: Tianjin Dongda Fine Chemical Co.,Ltd & Tianjin Bohai Dongda Pharmaceuticals Co.,Ltd and one holding branch: Tianjin Dongke Food Additive R&D Co.,Ltd.Our company holds state-level laboratories and the advanced R&D test laboratory .
Our major products are benzoic acid,sodium benzoate , benzyl benzoate, Polyol benzoate.The specifications of benzoic acid are tech grade,food grade,feed grade and pharm grade.Sodium benzoate is divided into powder type,granular type and column type.Benzyl benzoate possesses tech grade and perfume grade.Polyhydric alcohols are DEDB and DGPDB.
Annual Output: Benzoic acid: 80000tons for tech grade, 15000tons for total food and feed grade and 5000tons for pharm grade.Sodium benzoate:40000tons for powder type,10000tons for column and 15000tons for granular type. Benzyl benzoate: 5000 tons for tech grade and 5000 tons for pharm grade. 15000 tons for polyol benzoate and 5000 tons for benzyl acetate. The total output amounts to 195000 tons and with annual worth RMB2.5 billons.Production scale ranks NO.1 in Asia and NO.2 around the world.The production of benzoic acid has been automatically controlled by DCS system, and sodium benzoate workshop has accomplished automatic enclosed production .
At present ,80% of products are exported to various regions around the world and accepted by all of clients. Among them, the United States Coca-Cola, Johnson&Johnson, Novus, French L’oreal, Taiwan Dacheng, Japan’s Mitsui, DIC,Lee Kum Kee, Haitian Group, Wahaha, Jianlibao and many other famous companies have classified our company as a stable raw material supplier. The world’s largest chemical distributors Brenntag and Wego are the main customers of our company.
We are own 1 state-level key new product,15 invention and creation patents , 8 projects which have already listed in the science & technology development plan of State, Tianjin, Binhai New Area ,3 world's level science & technology achievements .
Granular sodium benzoate which is our patent product be named as “National Point New Product” and included in the country's new products catalogue of 2007. We set up the "Food Additives R&D Center" with Science & Technology University and has obtained lots of scientific research achievements.

Our company is Tianjin high & new technology enterprise, and wins a title of “little giant of Tianjin science & technology”. Our registered trademark "Wannianqiao" was appraised as Tianjin famous logo , our products benzoic acid and sodium benzoate were judged as Tianjin famous brand products. In order to broaden scale ,we have collected land of 300acres and invested RMB2.0billions in NangKang Industrial Zone , Binhai New Area ,Tianjin. In that place,we will yield tech, food, feed and pharm grade benzoic acid in amount of 150000 tons/year. At the same time, food grade series sodium benzoate and up&down stream series products will be outputed 100000 tons/year. 4000tons of polyol bnezoate; 12000 tons of tech and perfume grade benzyl benzoate, 10000 tons of benzyl acetate, 200000 tons of Benzonitrile, Benzoguanamine, Benzoic acid esters, Benzyl alcohol and ohter series products per year. With the development of our company ,we will form a complete industrial chain, with an annual output value of 5 billion.The construction has begun in Oct.29, 2009. The scale will be No.1 in the world.
